Psycho: A Live Visual Experience was a year-long collaborative project with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, where I worked alongside two other design students to create 15 minutes of animation for a live performance of Bernard Herrmann’s Psycho score. Using After Effects for animation and MadMapper for projection mapping, we brought the music to life on the Flynn Theater’s stage in Burlington. This project involved client collaboration, the development of a cohesive visual identity, and the technical execution of motion graphics and large-scale projection, blending design and performance to create an immersive cinematic experience.
