Montpelier is a branding project that captures the strength and spirit of Montpelier, Vermont—a place I’ve visited throughout my childhood. Growing up in nearby East Montpelier, I was shaped by the town’s small businesses, familiar faces, and welcoming charm. In July 2023, devastating floods severely impacted Montpelier, including my family’s workplaces, highlighting the town’s long history of rebuilding after disasters. This class project explores Montpelier’s resilience through its layered history of floods, fires, and storms, focusing on the community’s unwavering strength and ability to rebuild together.
